Steph Curry, Trae Young and Tyler Herro had big nights as opening week continues!

Only three games on the slate but there was no shortage of highlights!

Steph Curry explodes, Trae Young and the Hawks make a statement and Miami dominate the Bucks.

Catch up on all the scores, news and highlights from today's action right here.

Game of the Night

There was only one possible choice for game of the night.

Miami dominated Milwaukee and Atlanta cruised by Dallas, leaving a tight battle between the Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers.

We'll have more on Curry a little later in our performance of the night, but the Clippers had to withstand a vintage Steph barrage early, trailing by as many as 19 in the first quarter.

Behind a big night from Paul George, the Clippers worked their way back into the game to lead 93-90 with a quarter to play.

What followed was a thrilling final period, with five lead changes along the way. An Eric Bledsoe lay-up with 1:44 remaining gave the Clippers a 109-108 lead, before Curry hit a go-ahead triple and the Warriors would never look back.

Golden State now improve to 2-0 on the season with wins against both LA teams in the bank.

Highlight of the Night

We could have gone with an on court highlight from tonight, and there were plenty to choose from.....but I went with this super cool moment after Curry's big night.

Both Steph and Reggie Miller were named to the NBA 75 team and it felt poetic that Miller was on hand to watch the latest Curry classic.

Two of the best shooters to ever do it, celebrating a historic milestone together. Very cool indeed.

Performance of the Night

Stephen Curry was simply outrageous in the first quarter.

Curry detonated on the Clippers for 25 points on 9-for-9 shooting in the opening period.

The entire NBA world was fixated on the performance, with LeBron James and Damian Lillard just a couple of the NBA's stars to tweet about the outburst.

Curry cooled off in a big way after the initial onslaught, only managing 3-for-11 shooting over the second and third quarters.

Of course, he would respond down the stretch, scoring ten points in the final 4:00 of play, including two makes from beyond the arc to lift the Warriors to a memorable win.

Curry finished with 45 points and 10 rebounds on 16-for-25 from the floor and 8-for-13 from long range.

Just a ridiculous performance.
