Arizona Football returns to action against Washington, and with the Wildcats at risk of starting 0-7 (0-4), the Wildcats are still not giving up.

There is no doubt 2021 has been a rough year for fans, players, and coaches of Arizona Football, and with the Wildcats facing a real possibility of starting the season 0-7 (0-4), there is no lack of fight in the Wildcats.

It is no secret that these past few years have been hard to follow, especially as the Wildcats are just 9-26 since 2018, and are on their third head coach in five seasons. Nonetheless, Jedd Fisch and Arizona are desperately trying to turn things around.

Unfortunately, it has been an agonizingly slow process so far. The Wildcats are 0-7 (0-4), have endured several injuries, and the results surely have fans longing for more.

However, rebuilds are never easy, and after the mess the coaching staff inherited, turning this program around is not going to be easy.

So even with Arizona Football amid an abysmal 2021 season, the players and coaches are still fighting and still believing.

Following their embarrassing, 34-0 loss to Colorado and now owning the sole lead for the longest active losing streak in college football, it would be easy for this team to pack it in and quit on the season. However, that is seemingly not the case.

Despite falling to 0-6 (0-3), and losing their second quarterback to injury for the rest of the season, some of the players are seemingly responding well, digging deeper to try and stay positive, and continuing to fight week in and week out.

If the Wildcats are going to turn this around, it has to start inside the locker room, and more guys are going to need to step up. No one expected this team to be good by any means, but no one expected them to be winless with a loss to NAU either.

Hopefully, the Wildcats respond well this week and continue to work to get better!
