Recap

An antsy Higgins waits in her new therapist's office. Dr. Ogawa rushes in and an uncertain Juliet tries to leave. Ogawa gets her to stay and explains that most patients know what's bothering them and even what they have to do. They are just getting into her relationship with Ethan when Ogawa gets a disturbing appointment reminder about a patient who recently died by suicide. Higgins offers to look into the death of the teen Ani. Katsumoto's family car gets carjacked and his son Dennis is rushed for brain surgery. Rick and T.C. argue over T.C.'s hiring of Cade. Katsumoto wants Higgins and Magnum to leave the investigating to the cops. Juliet briefs Thomas on their new case. Ani's social media is already shut down. Ani's parents blame Ogawa for her death. Magnum and Higgins attend a memorial for Ani. Her boyfriend Will didn't attend. Ani had a large amount of Xanax in her bloodstream. Ani broke up with Will on the day she died. They interview Will, who gets defensive. Ani's social media gets reactivated. Dennis is in good shape after surgery. Ani's friend Colette attempts to drown herself. Lia rips into Thomas for interviewing Will without his parents present. Beth sends Katsumoto after the carjackers. Magnum's tip leads to a chop shop and the owner gives up the carjackers' names. Juliet uncovers the name of the hacker who messed with Ani's social media. Thomas figures out she did that through Mi-6. The hacker was hired by Shelley Davis, mother of Ani's friend Amanda. He says that Amanda killed Ani. Amanda supplied the Xanax that Ani used to kill herself. Magnum determines that Higgins is going to therapy with Ogawa. Katsumoto hangs back as Lia runs the capture of the carjackers. Gordon knows Lia and Thomas are a couple.
