From experience……… just pretend you are unaware, find someone else who will go along with the ruse for a week or two. Expound on how you enjoy the new Beau. Later, hopefully unwanted advances will be distracted elsewhere! GOOD LUCK!😊

Just tell him while you treasure your friendship, you are not interested in having a romantic relationship with him. That should do it.
