It has not been the best few weeks for Aspen Ladd. First, she failed to make the bantamweight limit at UFC Vegas 38 and her fight was called off due to safety concerns. The UFC cut her a break and inserted her into a featherweight main event against Norma Dumont for last weekend’s show to replace Holly Holm.
But it didn’t seem like Ladd showed up for that fight either, even though she was in the cage competing.
Ladd was thoroughly dominated by Dumont over five boring rounds. Dumont didn’t even have to do much - anything is better than nothing.
