The Marion Police Department is searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at a convenience store on Bennett Street.

Police said the suspect went into Norris Grocery around 8:45 a.m. Thursday wearing all black and a ski mask. Police said the suspect was armed with a handgun and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said the suspect is likely a white male who is about 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and tan-colored work boots.
