Emmerdale spoilers follow.
After the last episode's cliffhanger, Emmerdale has given fans a glimpse into Andrea Tate's possible death.
In tonight's (October 21) double bill, things weren't looking good for Andrea (Anna Nightingale), trapped in the maze with an extremely dangerous Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).
"Do I look like I'm here to bargain? Really?" Meena told Andrea, holding the "dead end" sign as a weapon.
"You're not my first and I very much doubt you'll be my last," she continued, hinting at having killed before.

The villain kept on attacking Andrea with the sign and managed to injure her.
"This is so much fun," she then said viciously.
Unexpectedly, Andrea grabbed the flare gun, ready to fire it if Meena didn't drop the sign.
However, Meena continued threatening Andrea and even admitted to having murdered Leanna. At that point, she had little choice but to get rid of Andrea for good to keep her secret.
"Now I definitely have to kill you," Meena said.
A fight ensued, with Meena accidentally firing the gun and setting the maze on fire. Convinced she had delivered the fatal blow, Meena dragged Andrea away and put the gun in her hand, before running away.
Meanwhile, Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade) found herself in the middle of the fire as she was going back to the camp. Andrea, who had survived Meena's attack, tried to get Priya's attention, weakly asking for help. But Meena started screaming over Andrea's voice to get Priya to notice her instead.
At the camp, Ellis Chapman (Aaron Anthony) saw the smoke coming from the maze and dashed to help Priya.

After bumping into Ellis, Meena attempted to convince him not to go back, and lied about having not seen anyone else inside. Ellis ignored her and managed to rescue a badly burned Priya.
Still alive, Andrea managed to reach for the walky talky and feebly tried to contact the others, but no one answered her desperate call. Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) came to a nearly collapsed Meena's rescue, while Andrea was left helpless: no one but her attacker knew she was still there.
Finally, Meena lied to the paramedics who had rushed to the scene, saying she hadn't seen anyone else inside the maze.
"It's insane, isn't it?" she told the paramedic, before smiling at the grey sky.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
