A cash reward is being offered for information after a string of armed robberies in Portland has gone unsolved.
The Portland Police Bureau is asking for the public's help to solve the cases, saying that multiple convenience stores in North and Northeast Portland have been robbed over the past few months. On each occasion, the suspects have a firearm, they target cash and tobacco products, and then run from the scene on foot after the robbery, according to police.
It's unclear how many people are involved in these armed robberies. Police described the suspects as men in their late teens or early twenties.
In partnership with the police bureau, Crime Stoppers of Oregon has offered a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
