Corrie's Asha and Nina to reunite after search for Corey clues

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street has teased Asha and Nina's reunion, after they team up to prove Corey's guilt.

After this week's long-anticipated Super Soap Week, which saw a sinkhole and massive storm ravage the street, Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) are set to go on a hunt for evidence to prove that Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) was responsible for Seb Frankin's (Harry Visinoni) murder.

Spoilers released earlier this week (October 18) revealed that Asha and Nina discovered a homeless man named Stu with a backpack that Asha saw Corey with the night of the attack.

But after they get a hold of this vital clue, talk will turn back to Asha and Nina's own relationship.

Asha and Nina's close friendship transformed into a romance earlier this year. But the young couple split soon after, leaving Asha to get back together with her killer ex-boyfriend Corey, and Nina to find love with Seb.

After Seb was brutally killed by Corey in a vicious hate crime, Asha stepped in to support Nina as she struggled to cope with Seb's death. She even sold her laptop to help Nina raise funds for Seb's memorial garden.

During Corey's court case last month which saw the street's residents try to get justice for Seb, Asha was pressed in the witness box to reveal whether she was still in love with Nina by Corey's barrister Sabeen.

Asha admitted that she was, but Sabeen used it against her, suggesting that her feelings could have made her lie to support Nina's testimony.

The aftermath of Super Soap Week will see Nina take Asha's hand and tell her she's ready to give their relationship another go if she's willing to have her back.

Asha is thrilled to hear it. Will things go better for the couple this time around?
