Now that she’s purchased a home in Pound Ridge, New York, Zoë Kravitz officially has a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple. Dirt reports that the actor purchased the Westchester County home from model and actor Maggie Q in an off-market deal for $1.24 million.

The picturesque two bedroom two bathroom property sits atop a babbling brook and if that isn’t quaint enough, it also includes two acres of private land packed with trees. The three-story building was originally used as a cider mill in the 1700s and its rustic interior certainly looks the part. Hand-hewn wood beams, wood panelled walls, and dark wood flooring maintain the 2,592 square foot property’s rural vibe, while carefully chosen modern details ensure it’s a comfortable living space without distracting from the style of the home. In the double height great room, an understated gourmet kitchen and minimalist fireplace bring the space up to the 21st century, and a second floor gallery allows occupants to admire the space from above.

Upstairs, the decadent primary bathroom includes a copper soaking tub, which is nestled against a picture window and offers the ability to take in the rugged environs without having to brave the outdoors. The top floor bedroom, with its high slanted ceilings, boasts unique upper shelving which can be used for books or to display small decor pieces, and a wooden ladder makes everything easily accessible. Kravitz seems to prefer charmingly unusual living spaces—according to Dirt, the actor has lived in a converted Williamsburg, Brooklyn, warehouse since 2015.
