The rumor whispers really started to heat up on Wednesday when multiple reports indicated that the Miami Dolphins were nearing a deal to acquire Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.

These rumors have been super popular dating back to the summer and yet again, nothing has been put in ink.

Dolphins rookie wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was asked about all the rumors swirling around involving Miami and he isn't paying any attention to it.

The reality for Miami is that a trade of this magnitude would cause a lot of focus to be shifted if it come to fruition. First off, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa would likely be heading out if a trade for Watson is made. In just his second year out of Alabama after being a high first-round pick, the lefty hasn't shown enough apparently in the eyes of the Miami brass.

Watson is dealing with world of problems off the field after being accused by over 20 women of sexual assault. His current team, the Texans, have opted to make him inactive for each and every game this year even though he isn't currently suspended.

If the Dolphins make the move, it be incredibly risky given Watson's legal troubles that are ongoing. It's a bit puzzling that they seem to be ready to move on from Tagovailoa with a limited sample size to go off of.

Waddle insists the Dolphins are focused on the Atlanta Falcons, who they will welcome in to Miami in Week 7.
