Buckinghamshire coronavirus latest sees three more deaths and 848 cases

There have been three more coronavirus deaths and 848 cases across Buckinghamshire over the past 24 hours.

According to the UK Health Security Agency there have now been 1,516 people across Buckinghamshire to die within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

Two of the latest deaths came in Milton Keynes while the third came in the former Wycombe district.

Over the past 24 hours the largest increase in coronavirus cases came in the Aylesbury Vale district where there were 254, bringing the total to 23,971.

The second-highest increase was in Milton Keynes, where there were another 232 positive tests, while Wycombe saw another 152.

In Chiltern there were another 148 cases while the lowest across the county came in South Bucks where there were just 62.

As of 9am on Thursday there had been a further 52,009 lab-confirmed Covid-19 cases in the UK, the Government said, which is the highest number of daily reported cases since July 17.
