CAPE CANAVERAL – KENNEDY SPACE CENTER – The past, present and future of space exploration is something visitors can see at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex every day. On October 30, at 2:43 a.m.* guests will be able to witness the real time excitement as the Space X Flacon 9 Crew-3 mission takes flight from Launch Complex 39A.

NASA astronauts Raja Chari, Tom Marshburn and Kayla Barron and ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Matthias Maurer will comprise the third crew rotation mission to the International Space Station (ISS) as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.

Launch viewing from Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be offered at the Apollo/Saturn V Center/Banana Creek – just four miles from Launch Complex 39A – and at the main Visitor Complex. A number of select special packages will be offered for an enhanced experience:

Ticket packages are sold for the specific mission and not for a specific date. The limited-availability packages will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

As always, the health and safety of employees and guests is the highest priority for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendations, the visitor complex continues to operate at a limited attendance, accommodating social distancing, encouraging advance daily admission purchases, and implementing increased frequency of sanitization and disinfection. Due to the recent increase of COVID-19 cases and the Delta variant, the visitor complex has updated the face mask policy. All guests, including those vaccinated against COVID-19, are required to wear face coverings in all indoor locations, except when actively eating or drinking. This includes all attractions, attraction queues, show viewing areas, restaurants and buses. Guests who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are not required to wear face coverings outdoors. *Launch viewing is not available for daily admission ticket holders and this launch is a blackout date for annual passes. Launch date, time and viewing opportunities are subject to change. Launches can be affected by technical and mechanical issues as well as range operations and weather, either in advance or at the last minute.
