WALLA WALLA – A College Place man arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, robbery and assault involving two people from Walla Walla in late July has pleaded guilty to amended charges. Brian J. Rosenkranz, 42, will be sentenced on Monday, Nov. 8 on two counts of unlawful imprisonment, assault, harassment, and theft.

He, along with Arthur R. Waldon, 31, of Prescott and Billy Jo R. Dynes, 27, of College Place were arrested on August 5 for allegedly committing crimes against a 28-year-old man and his 32-year-old girlfriend on the night of July 27 and then abandoning the victims near Prescott. The alleged assault and threats made against the victims were reported to have stemmed from a debt the female victim owed.

Both Waldon and Dynes pleaded not guilty on August 16. Waldon’s trial is set to begin on December 13. Dynes’ trial begins January 10, 2022.
