Tuesday, October 19th

8:30am: Kitty Halbur spoke with an officer to locate a subject in Jefferson. She did not have any contact information for the subject. The officer did some research and provided her with a possible address.

4:00pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 300 Block of East Vest Street for, “Parked Facing Wrong Direction.”

5:44m: Dennis Jordan reported a motorcycle driving erratically on North Pinet Street. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.

8:19pm: A Traffic Stop at Grimmell and Central resulted in Lyndsey Zahradnik of Grand Junction being cited for. “Excessive Speed.

10:45pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Lincoln Way resulted in Zachery Waters of Humboldt being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”

11:48pm: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Mulberry Streets resulted in Alicia Steece of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”

11:53pm: While enroute to an Alarm Activation at 115 West State Street, the alarm company advised it was a False Alarm.

Wednesday, October 20th

12:20am: Ron Clipperton requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 200 Block of North Oak Street. The officer made contact with the subject and learned they were fine.

8:17am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street.

8:36am: The Greene County Elementary School advised of a friendly cat that keeps slipping into the building at 401 East Russell Street. They had captured the cat this time. The officer placed the cat in the Animal Holding Facility.

10:40am: Mary Wilson reported a Barking Dog near South Cedar, or South Olive Streets. The officer did not locate the animal.

2:09pm: Michelle Howard reported the Theft of a pumpkin from her porch at 714 South Oak Street. A neighbor had witnessed a female take the pumpkin off of Howard’s porch, place it in a car and drive away for several minutes. The neighbor provided the officer with the same information and the identity of the female she witnessed taking the pumpkin. The officer is investigating.

4:34pm: An officer investigated an accident at North Maple and West Washington Streets. A 1996 Dodge Ram, owned and operated by Mike Renslow of Jefferson, was eastbound on West Washington Street. Renslow collided with a southbound vehicle at the intersection of Washington and Maple Streets. The 2006 BMW was owned by James Joy and operated by Jordan Joy of Scranton. The Renslow vehicle had a reported $800.00 in damages, while the Joy vehicle had a reported $1500.00 in damages and was towed from the scene. Charges are pending for Joy for, Fail to Yield to Vehicle on Right.
