Kyle Lowry is creating chaos in Miami, and the Heat couldn’t be happier

MIAMI—Kyle Lowry hasn’t yet played a regular-season game since taking his talents to South Beach in the summer. But already the Miami Heat have bestowed the impending era of their new franchise point guard with a catchphrase.

They’re calling it “Kyle Chaos” — or “K.C.,” as Heat president Pat Riley coined it during his annual pre-season address. It’s the new local name tag for a style fans of the Raptors grew to love during Lowry’s nine seasons in Toronto — the frenetic, ball-pushing urgency that made Lowry the high-IQ engine of a championship-winning franchise.
