The City of Orange has the most historic homes in one square mile in the country.City of Orange locals share what they love most about thee historic small town.

ORANGE, Calif. (KABC) -- Locals describe the City of Orange as a 'dream city.' What do residents love about Orange? It's the tight-knit, charming community.

"Orange to me is safety, it's home, it's comfort. Everything that I want my child to grow up in," said Rocio Gomez, a resident in the city of Orange.

"One thing about Orange is that everyone here is super friendly. I've always admired their historic homes, their wrap-around porches," said Nancy MacDonald, a resident in the city of Orange.

Old Towne Orange contains the largest Nationally Registered Historic District in California. It's also a big breakfast spot with plenty of cafes and restaurant options. And for lunch and dinner, many love Orange Hill restaurant, which has amazing panoramic views of the city.

What many people don't know is there is a small, charming horse community called Orange Park Acres. Lined with trees and ranch properties, it's a hidden area locals love.
