Everquest 2 Vetrovia Expansion Beta Pre-Orders

Beta testing for the Visions of Vetrovia expansion of Darkpaw Games’ MMO EverQuest 2 is under way and now available to those who purchase one of the four available editions – ranging in price from $34.99 to $249.99 US. Set on an isolated continent filled with darkness, Vision of Vetrova is filled with all kinds of new content for players to explore and includes a player level increase to 125.

The expansion adds new solo, heroic, and raid content, all offering powerful new weapons and armor as rewards. It also introduces new feats and an opportunity to really hone your tradeskills with five new levels. There are also new Vetrovian decorative housing items to be had.

Of course, none on this would be available without new zones. There are four: the Svarni Expanse, the Karuupa Jungle, the Mahngavi Wastes, and the Forlorn Gist. The first is located just off the western shore of Vetrovia and is accessed by the Svarni Gateway – formerly known as “Natimbi, The Broken Shores”. The Karuupa Jungle covers the entire southern half of the continent and is covered by dense vegetation, making it exceedingly dangerous. The Wastes are the result of the Shattering & Rending and take up the majority of the north-eastern portion of the continent. Finally, the Forlorn Gist is a mysterious village at the center that at one time was a great city and may now be the most dangerous area of all.

As mentioned above, to access beta testing for the expansion, you will need to pre-order. For the minimum price of $34.99, you’ll receive access to the beta and a character level boost to 120. All the other editions will offer this too, as well as exclusive content. The full list of items available in each edition can be found on the announcement page.
