The Austin-Travis County EMS is responded to a vehicle rescue involving a rollover crash that took place in Southwest Austin Wednesday night.
It happened at the intersection of Old Bee Caves Road and Thomas Springs Road at around 8:26 p.m.
ATCEMS says the collision involved two vehicles, with one that rolled over and a total of three patients, one of them being pinned in one of the vehicles.
Two of the patients were declared trauma alerts and the patient who was pinned was extricated.
One adult patient was taken by EMS to South Austin Medical Center with potentially serious injuries. The Adult patient who was pinned inside a vehicle was taken to South Austin Medical Center via a STAR Flight unit with critical, life-threatening injuries.
The third patient was evaluated by EMS who had minor injuries and refused to be taken to the hospital.
There were expected delays in the area due to the incident.
