Pa. chiropractor gets probation after allegations of groping teens, women: report

A chiropractor from western Pennsylvania pleaded to lesser charges on Tuesday, after being accused of groping multiple patients, according to reports.

Moses Jevicky pleaded no contest in three separate cases that were later consolidated, according to online court dockets. Jevicky was sentenced to probation for 3 years during a hearing on Tuesday.

While a no-contest plea means Jevicky didn’t admit to the crimes, he acknowledged there was evidence against him and he was convicted in the eyes of the law.

TribLive reports that the former chiropractor was prohibited from attempting to restore his professional license while on probation.

The 39-year-old, of Verona, was originally charged with indecent assault of someone younger than 16 in two cases, along with harassment charges, dockets show. The charges were downgraded to open lewdness.

According to police, Jevicky is accused of having improper contact with two 15-year-old girls between 2015 and 2018, TribLive reported.

One girl said she was being treated at a Greensburg Chiropractic practice when she said Jevicky pulled on her underwear and touched her inappropriately, TribLive reported.

The other teen said Jevicky was a coach and trainer in 2015 when he touched her inappropriately and made “sexually suggestive statements,” TribLive reported.

Two women who were chiropractic clients said Jevicky made lewd comments and inappropriately touched them, TribLive reported.
