The Atlanta Braves social media team took a shot at MLB for focusing in on the Dodgers in a tweet promoting Game 4 of the NLCS.

The Atlanta Braves don’t want much, but they would like MLB to acknowledge they’re also playing on Wednesday night in the NLCS.

The official MLB Twitter account promoted the start of Game 4 by celebrating “Dodger baseball.”

“The #Braves are playing too,” they pointed out.

The Braves are tired of MLB’s Twitter account ignoring them

The tweet before that one from the MLB account was also about the Dodgers.

They tweeted about Cody Bellinger a few hours before as well.

In fact, scroll down the timeline of MLB tweets and you’d hardly see Atlanta. The Dodgers, Astros and Red Sox are getting wall-to-wall coverage. Atlanta can’t get an inch.

The social media managers may have gotten the hint, retweeting a “hair appreciation post” for Dansby Swanson. It wasn’t much though.

It’s not that they should be getting all the coverage. After Tuesday night’s eighth-inning meltdown and Bellinger’s heroics, it made sense to focus on the victors. It’s just strange that the Braves seem to be totally forgotten as the series moves on to a potentially pivotal Game 4. ATL has stars to promote too.

This isn’t just a Twitter thing either. Some felt like the TBS broadcast on Tuesday night was biased as well.

The good news for Atlanta is they forced the MLB account to pay attention early in Game 4. Back-to-back home runs in the second inning finally got Twitter talking about the team that still leads the NLCS 2-1.
