Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers couldn't be any happier with the return of offensive tackle David Bakhtiari to practice this week.

Rodgers didn't hold back his praises for the All-Pro tackle when speaking to reporters on Wednesday. Clearly, the superstar QB missed his best friend and his blindside protector.

“It’s good having him back. He’s a stud. He’s a future Hall of Famer,” Rodgers said of the returning Bakhtiari, per Sports Illustrated.

David Bakhtiari has been sidelined for the Packers ever since his season-ending ACL injury in 2020. He was in the team's Physically Unable to Perform list before before the team gave him the green light to practice with the rest of the roster.

Packers head coach Matt LeFleur confirmed earlier in the week that Bakhtiari was set to rejoin the team, which would start his three-week window to return to the active roster.

It is still unknown when exactly Bakhtiari will be able to play, but based on Aaron Rodgers' comments alone, it seems like the 30-year-old vet is doing better and healthier now.

Bakthiari rejoining Green Bay will certainly be a massive luxury for a team currently on a hot five-game winning streak. Rodgers and Co. are undefeated since their Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints, and the addition of Bakhtiari–whenever it may be–should only make them even more difficult to beat.

Rodgers surely has several reasons to be happy about with Bakhtiari back, and so are the Packers.
