The entire basketball world had their eyes on Tuesday's opening night matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. Even Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard was glued to his TV for the game, and he was one of those who took notice of LeBron James' season debut performance.

Dame had just one word to say about LeBron's opening night showing for the Lakers:

LeBron did look like a man on a mission Tuesday, finishing with a game-high 34 points on 13-of-23 shooting. The Lakers star also logged 11 rebounds and five assists, while also going 5-of-11 from three-point territory.

Unfortunately for LeBron, his Lakers fell to Stephen Curry and the Warriors, 121-114. LA held control for pretty much the entire game only to let the Dubs steal a victory in the final frame.

Russell Westbrook was one of the biggest scapegoats for the Lakers, with critics jumping on the former league MVP for his rather forgettable debut for LA. It was far from a dream start for Russ, but the good news for him is that there are still 81 regular-season games slated in the schedule.

The Lakers return to action on Friday night in a spicy matchup against the defending Western Conference champs in the Phoenix Suns.
