To say that Russell Westbrook had a rather forgettable debut for the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night would be a bit of an understatement. The former MVP has been criticized for the role he played (or the lack thereof) in LA's opening night loss to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. Westbrook himself does not appear to be too happy with his performance and his postgame reaction is a clear testament to this fact.

Russ was not in the best of moods following the Lakers' 121-114 loss to the Dubs. After the game, Westbrook had just two words to say about what new teammates LeBron James and Anthony Davis told him following their opening night defeat (h/t Kyle Goon of Southern California News Group):

Westbrook isn't exactly the most reserved individual out there, and he's the type who usually speaks his mind. However, it was clear that the new Lakers point guard wasn't ready to open up about his postgame conversation with LeBron and AD. As a matter of fact, Russ didn't really feel like talking at all after his debut.

Westbrook started and logged 35 minutes on Tuesday, finishing with just eight points on 4-of-13 shooting (including 0-of-4 from the three-point line). He also collected five rebounds, four assists, and four turnovers in the loss.
