While the Caped Crusader's latest reboot would earn most of its box office haul in those first couple of weekends, there's no getting around the fact that the DC adaptation would hurt the Doctor Strange sequel.

How would Batman, in its 4th week, hurt DS2 releasing in its 1st week at the box office ? Like what ? If anything DS2 releasing week 1 would have hurt Batman in its 4th week a lot more.

@Typhoon20 - exactly. The only people seeing the batman on the weekend dr strange releases are people who weren't gonna watch Dr strange at all.

@Origame - I don't fall into any of these categories, but remember things are tight all around, and I certainly have friends that have to choose between one movie or the other at the theater.

A small family trip to the theater can easily rack up to $80-100.

So if Johnny wants to take his two 17 year old sons to see Batman and Doc Strange on the same month, he's definitely looking at 100+ expenses.

@FortWaba - for context, I'm referring to how the movies will actually release. Which, as the comment I'm replying to pointed out, is 4 weeks after batman. If this were say the weekend after then yes I could see this being more of an issue. But more often than not if you're seeing a 4 week old movie instead of a movie released that weekend, then you're not interested in seeing that movie.

At this point I don't even mind the delays anymore, since we're having so much content coming our way that we'll stay busy in the meantime. So I don't really consider any of these really "need" to know

Rormachine is the only semi legit person that reports on this site. Have some self respect.

Not sure how but the ads get worse each and every time I visit this site. Anyone have recommendations on a site without 3rd grade writers???

@Borgey - Josh reads the comments. I've seen him respond to people when they use cold hard facts to show why he's a hack. But most of the time when people call him out and it hurts his ego, comments go missing.

It seems a lot of HamiltonParker and Josh Wilding articles get a lot of negative feedback, mostly for good reasons. I think instead of giving him what he wants (article clicks) that we simply stop clicking on the articles all together as most of us seem to click them purely to leave comments about how stupid the articles are. Perhaps if they notice that article clicks are dropping then we might actually get higher quality articles instead of this type of clickbait trash.
