Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's resident villain Meena Jutla is back at it as the show teases Andrea Tate's shocking death.

Things got spooky on Wednesday's (October 20) episode, kicking off with Meena's (Paige Sandhu) attempt to kill Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) after the latter had fallen off a bridge and into the water.

"Hang in there, for David’s sake. Oh wait, he’s already taken," Meena said, pushing Victoria further down.

Andrea (Anna Nightingale) saw the scene from above and yelled, practically signing her death sentence.

Later on, David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) came to Victoria's rescue, unaware that Meena had just tried to murder her. Billy was able to revive Victoria, much to Meena's disappointment.

The villain then left to confront Andrea, aware that the woman had witnessed her attempt to drown Victoria.

"I saw what you did. I saw you hold Victoria under the water," Andrea admitted.

The murderer tried to convince Andrea what she saw wasn’t true and blocked her way to prevent her from telling others.

Andrea unexpectedly pushed Meena to escape but the baddie went after her, following her all the way to the maze maize while singing an eerie song. Creepy.

In the maze, Andrea arrived at a "dead end" sign, stopping to turn around and face Meena. "Once you’re dead, you can’t do so much," Meena threatened Andrea.

"You’re trying to scare me?" she replied.

"I am. I haven’t even got started yet," Meena hit back.

Upon noticing the "dead end" sign, the villain decided to make it her weapon and attack Andrea with it.

"As if! I mean, surely that’s a sign," Meena said as she picked the sign up.

"Don’t worry, it’ll be quick," she added, as the camera cut to Andrea screaming in fear. Is this the end of Andrea Tate?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
