Authorities have arrested a Clementon man sought in the February shooting death of a woman and wounding of two other people in Cumberland County.
Tyzir S. Hall, 22, is charged in the killing of Shaheed Little, 31, of Sicklerville.
On the afternoon of Feb. 8, police responded to a home on the 400 block of South Avenue in Bridgeton and found Little dead of multiple gunshot in the basement. A man and woman suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment. One was shot in the face and the other in the leg, police said.
Hall was identified as the shooter and charged in March with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses, but police could not locate him.
A $2,500 reward was offered for information leading to his arrest.
A U.S. Marshals fugitive task force arrested Hall in Philadelphia on Tuesday, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
He is being held in Philadelphia pending extradition to New Jersey.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Bridgeton Police Department Detective Daniel Bagley at 845-451-0033 or Prosecutor’s Office Detective Miguel Martinez at 856-453-0486. Anonymous tips may be shared with both agencies online at ccpo.tips or bpd.tips.
