4-H teaches youth many exceptional and important life skills such as responsibility, hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, the importance of friendship and teamwork, all of which was on display as the Greenbrier County Shotgun Team competed in their State 4-H Shotgun Qualifier in Fairmont. Team member Ryan Reynolds places 2nd as a Master. Samantha Holliday placed 4th in the Jr. Division. As seniors this year, Anthony Wylie placed 1st, Leah Wylie 6th, Carmen Fogus 8th, Luke Fogus 9th and Granger Holliday 15th. Anthony Wylie has qualified to compete in the National 4-H Shotgun Competition in Nebraska representing West Virginia in 2022. The Shotgun Team thanks supporters from the Greenbrier Sporting Club, Greenbrier Arts and Recreation Committee and many generous individuals in the community, family, friends and dedicated coaches.
