Detectives Charge Suspect in Connection with Temple Hills Murder:Prince George's County Police

Detectives with our ave arrested and charged a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Temple Hills in September. The suspect is 26-year-old Derrick Edwards of Temple Hills. He is charged with the murder of 23-year-old Davon Graves of Suitland.

On September 26, 2021, at approximately 7:00 pm, patrol officers responded to the 4500 block of St. Barnabas Road for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located Graves unresponsive in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed the victim and suspect had been in an argument prior to the shooting. Edwards is charged with first- and second-degree murder, and other related charges.

The fact he has a smell on his face probably means he has absolutely no remorse. Sad people are losing their lives for almost next to nothing in the DMV.

Wow DC and PG county seems like it’s turning back their calendar pages a few years. Like 20 years. Cause it’s getting bad once again. And up 95 Baltimore is even 2x more dangerous and they seemed to have an influx of murders as well. The whole Baltimore and DC area is getting worse together at the same time. Not a good sign at all.
