Storylines

Barcelona: Ousmane Dembele and Martin Braithwaite remain out, as do Pedri and Ronald Araujo. Eric Garcia is also suspended, so the backline should be quite thin for Ronald Koeman's side. Due to form, expect Ansu Fati to start on the wing, and this may be our look at Sergio Aguero making his debut in this competition for the club. This is a game that they just have to have, and last year they could never answer the call even with Lionel Messi. Can they do it here without him in the biggest competition of all?

Dynamo: The Ukrainian side are dealing with numerous injuries in attack, and that will put even more pressure on talented striker Vladyslav Supriaha. The 21-year-old forward has been prolific in attack while on loan at Dnipro-1, but he has yet to replicate that form for Dynamo. He's got two goals in 26 matches and will likely be counted on here. He's young and inconsistent, but Barca's defense can be very forgiving. If he can capitalize here, he could guide his team to a huge result but also kick-start his tenure with the team.

Prediction

Memphis Depay's second-half penalty kick lifts Barca to three points they just had to have. Pick: Barcelona 2, Dynamo 1
