How to watch Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 livestream if you missed it

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 came right on the heels of the Pixel 6 launch, but unlike Google’s event, it didn’t feature new hardware — at least not exactly. Instead, we got new color and customization options for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 features, and special editions of the Watch 4 and Buds 2.

The company has already announced its Galaxy S series and new foldables. It also said that the Galaxy Note series isn’t coming this year, and neither is the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.

Everything announced at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Part 2

As expected, the company revealed things that will reflect users’ individuality, primarily in terms of new color options. We have a comprehensive overview of everything Samsung announced, but you can also read below to see some of the key points.

The tech giant has launched a host of new colors for the Galaxy Flip 3, along with personalization options that are available on the Bespoke Studio at Samsung.com. A new service called Bespoke Upgrade Care lets customers replace the panels with new color options that you can mix and match, for a fee. There are a total of 49 possible combinations to choose from. You’re able to get a Bespoke Edition Watch 4 as well — at least if you’re in Korea, the U.S., U.K, Germany, France, Canada, and Australia–  starting on October 20. The Flip 3 will start at $1,099 and come with 12 months of Samsung Care+ protection.

Consumers can also enjoy the Galaxy Flip 3 smartphone in cream, grey, pink, lavender, and green hues, color options that are already live on the site and ready to order, with shipping set for late October and early November. Samsung has not indicated that any other device will receive new colors, and at this point, it’s likely that people will flock to the smaller, more cost-friendly foldable phone rather than the Fold 3.

New Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 features

The other big news was based on software for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. In addition to four new watch faces, it’s now possible to mix and match complications, making it easier to see messages, track steps, and more. Fall detection now features adjustable sensitivity, and a new “knock-knock” gesture can be customized to do things like create reminders or open an app of your choice.

Special Edition Galaxy Watch 4 and Buds 2

Last, but not least, Samsung collaborated with Maison Kitsuné to create special editions of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Buds 2. Both wearables feature a new Moonrock Beige colorway, and the Galaxy Watch 4 Maison Kitsuné Edition includes two watch bands. The Buds 2 Maison Kitsuné Edition is available for order starting at $250. The Galaxy Watch 4 Maison Kitsuné comes in one model, 40mm with Bluetooth, for $400.

Yes, Samsung will charge money for some of these flashy AI features, but they really stand out with their own functional merits. What follows is a brief description of all the core AI-powered features that Samsung is serving on the Galaxy S24 series phones.
