New Sharon, IA- The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation executed a search warrant on a home in New Sharon related to the Xavior Harrelson case.
Assistant Director of the Iowa DCI Mitch Mortvedt told TV station KCCI that the search is “part of an ongoing investigation into Xavior’s disappearance and death.”
The Iowa Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives was assisted by the DCI in the search. New Sharon is located about 13 miles from Montezuma.
The remains of Harrelson were located about three miles outside of Montezuma on September 30th, about four months after he went missing.
No further information was released.
