Hey look, it’s more Anthony Hopkins casting news! Hopkins and Jeremy Strong are set to star alongside Anne Hathaway in Focus Features’ upcoming project Armageddon Time. James Gray is writing and directing the film that is currently in production in New York.

Armageddon Time is a coming of age film inspired by the director’s life in a pre-Reagan America set in Queens, New York. There are no other story details beyond that.

Hopkins is just coming off his big Best Actor win at the Oscars, and it was recently announced that he is starring in a film titled The Son, which is a followup to The Father, which he won the Oscar for.

Strong is also coming off a big win, as he won an Emmy for best actor in a drama series for his role in HBO’s Succession.

There’s a lot of great talent attached to this project, so whatever it ends up being, I’m sure it’ll be good.
