The parent of Genghis Grill and other stir-fry concepts has hired Neil Quinn as CFO, the company said Tuesday.
Quinn joins Irving, Texas-based Mongolian Concepts as it looks to revitalize itself under new CEO Gregg Majewski. He was most recently CFO of seafood importer Mazzetta Company; before that, he spent 23 years with McDonald's, where he rose to the role of corporate vice president and treasurer. According to his LinkedIn page, he has been with Mongolian Concepts since June.
In addition to Genghis Grill, the company owns FlatTop Grill and bd's Mongolian Grill, the three of which account for more than 75 locations.
“The brands housed by Mongolian Concepts are in the perfect position for growth,” Quinn said in a statement. “My goal is not only to grow the rates of business for each individual brand, but to also expand the organization as a whole. The steps that the brands have already taken towards opportunistic and smart expansion will play well into the role I plan to take with the group.”
