Inside the NBA analyst Charles Barkley made fun of LeBron James’ headband, saying it was used to cover his bald spot.

The Los Angeles Lakers are entering yet another NBA title or bust season after they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Phoenix Suns. With a new roster surrounding LeBron James, the Lakers looked to get a had start on that goal with a win over the Golden State Warriors in the season-opener on Sunday.

During the lead-up to the game, the TNT cameras caught James participating in the shoot-around. Inside the NBA analyst Charles Barkley noticed the size of LeBron’s headband, quipping that he is wearing it to “cover that bald spot.”

How do you know the NBA season is officially back? Barkley is back making jokes about LeBron’s hairline.

James is looking to bounce back from what was a disappointing season for the Lakers. Despite all of the additions they made last offseason, the team underperformed and dealt with a variety of injuries. James himself suffered a high ankle sprain after the All-Star break and missed over a month.

Through 45 games last season, James averaged 25.0 points, 7.8 assists and 7.7 rebounds while shooting 51.3-percent from the field and 36.5-percent from the three-point line.

Safe to say that LeBron will not be focused on the hairline jokes. He is determined to win his fifth NBA title at season’s end.
