A driver died after a crash in Anderson County, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.The crash happened on Highway 86 near Wiggington Road in Piedmont at 7:43 p.m. Tuesday, troopers said. The coroner identified the driver as James Gregory Freeze, 55, of Easley.Freeze traveled off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail and tree, troopers said.He was not wearing a seat belt, according to troopers. Freeze died at the scene.
ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. —
A driver died after a crash in Anderson County, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Highway 86 near Wiggington Road in Piedmont at 7:43 p.m. Tuesday, troopers said.

The coroner identified the driver as James Gregory Freeze, 55, of Easley.
Freeze traveled off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail and tree, troopers said.

Freeze died at the scene.
