Glenn County residents packed the Glenn County Board of Supervisors chambers as they discussed passing a resolution opposing any state-mandated COVID-19 vaccines.
Agendized Supervisor Grant Carmon said he received numerous calls from residents wanting this.
"As an elected official, I feel it is our responsibility to listen to our constituents and bring up issues, and topics, that they want to talk about," says Carmon.
He says his concern with the mandates is not knowing to what extent they will go.
“Where do they stop? I feel like they’re slowly taking away the rights and privileges of citizens. And, I’m just worried. Where does it end?”
The board of supervisors will vote on the resolution at the next board meeting.
Because it is a resolution and not an ordinance Carmon says he is not concerned about repercussions from the state.
