Second half goals by Isaac Taegar and Jack Cunningham lifted 13th-seeded Metuchen to a 2-1 come from behind victory over 20th-seeded South Brunswick in the preliminary round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament in Metuchen.
Aaron Honig made three saves and Liam Benderly had two for Metuchen (10-3-1), which trailed 1-0 at halftime. Metuchen will play fourth-seeded Monroe in the first round on Thursday.
