Caroline DeKenipp had two goals and an assist to spark second-seeded Point Pleasant Boro, No. 17 in the NJ.com Top 20, to a 4-1 win over seventh-seeded Southern in the quarterfinals of the Shore Conference Tournament in Point Pleasant.

Point Pleasant Boro was clinging to a 2-1 lead entering the fourth quarter but scored twice in the final period to pull away. Ryane Fisahn added a goal and an assist and Heather Kimak also scored.

The victory sent Point Pleasant Boro (19-0) to the semifinals against either third-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven or sixth-seeded Wall.

Cuinn Deely scored for Southern (11-4).
