Colts’ QB Carson Wentz Named PFF’s Offensive Player of the Week

Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback Carson Wentz has earned Pro Football Focus’ Offensive Player of the Week award.

Wentz’s numbers were solid Sunday, as he threw for 223 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Colts’ quarterback has also now gone four straight games without throwing an interception, which is one of the main reasons why the team’s offense has looked as dominant as it has over the last three weeks.

Where Wentz was really exceptional, though, was on play-action passes, as that’s where a majority of his big throws and both touchdowns passes came from Sunday afternoon.
