Michelle Young’s ‘Bachelorette’ premiere gown features over 15K sequins

How’s that for a first impression?

When Michelle Young embarks on her “Bachelorette” journey during Tuesday’s premiere, she’ll do so dressed in a sparkling gown by franchise favorite Randi Rahm.

The New York designer, who’s been outfitting the ABC show’s leading ladies for a decade, told Page Six Style that Young’s “extremely special” night-one dress was made in a unique color she calls “soft lime.”

It’s completely embellished with round half-inch paillettes (or sequins), each of which was hand-stitched to the gown and topped with a Swarovski crystal in the middle for even more sparkle.

Rahm told us it took two sewers over 672 hours to cover the entire garment — which also features an open back and sides — with over 15,000 individual spangles.

“I knew I wanted to create something sleek with openness that is still a classy and sophisticated look,” the designer said. “With Michelle’s elegant beauty and stature, I felt she was the perfect fit for this architectural piece.”

Rahm previously told us that one of her couture creations can cost anywhere from $15,000 to $150,000,” and that while “Bachelorettes” don’t have to pay for their dresses, they do have to return them after the show.

Minnesota native Young, 28, previously made headlines with the glamorous gold gown she wore in promotional spots for her season, an undeniably more elegant look than the vibrator-inspired purple latex skirt previous lead Katie Thurston donned for her teasers.

Both Young and Thurston, 30, competed on Matt James’ season of “The Bachelor,” with the former even making it to the finale. At the end of her turn as “Bachelorette” this summer, Thurston accepted a proposal (and a stunning Neil Lane sparkler) from Blake Moynes.

Here’s hoping Young has equally good luck — although judging by her lovely lime look, there’s nothing but green lights ahead.
