In Demon Slayer: the Hinokami Chronicles follows Tanjiro through the story of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba as he battles demons in order to rescue his sister who has become a demon. Demon Slayer: the Hinokami Chronicles is available on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. Unfortunately, there is no cross-play between the consoles, which is disappointing for a fighting game.

How to Parry in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles

To parry in Demon Slayer: the Hinokami Chronicles players must tilt the left stick and press R1/RB simultaneously. The timing can be a little tricky to do repeatedly and whiffing a parry can leave players open to punishment, but it can be a gamechanger if used correctly.

Parrying an attack will earn players some Special Meter charge and give them the opportunity to counter attack with their own combo.
