Venom 2: Kevin Feige Reveals How the Post-Credits Scene Came Together

The post-credits scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage has fans freak out as it seemingly transported Eddie Brock/Venom to the MCU, making him part of the same world as Tom Holland's Peter Parker/Spider-Man. It is a huge deal as it features a crossover between the two Marvel franchises/universes: the main MCU and Sony's Venom-Verse. It also hints at the possibility of the symbiote appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter during the world premiere of Eternals, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige discussed how the post-credits scene of the film happened which, of course, requires Sony and Marvel to work together. He said, "There was a lot of coordination — and if you don't know all the coordination yet, I'm not going to be the one to tell you — but yes, between Sony and Marvel and the Venom team and the No Way Home team. We worked together on it."

This indicates that Feige was on-board on the idea of Eddie Brock/Venom coming to the MCU and it is part of their plan which will possibly unveil in Spider-Man: No Way Home. As of now, there's still no confirmation if Tom Hardy will be making an appearance in the upcoming film, but we shouldn't count out the possibility given all these emerging details.

There's a lot of speculations about what will happen in Spider-Man: No Way Home which will feature villains from the past Spider-Man films and how the post-credits scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage will perhaps connect to that. Are we going to see a face-off between Holland's Spider-Man and Hardy's Venom in that film? Maybe we will. After all, they've been trying to make that happen ever since the first Venom was released. This might be the chance for that to finally happen. We shall wait and see when we finally watch Spider-Man: No Way Home this coming December.
