Married At First Sight UK's Luke Dawson has opened up about his relationship with on-screen wife Morag Crichton, and what the future holds.

While the couple renewed their vows in what seemed like happily ever after in the series finale, the reunion special revealed the couple were no longer together.

Luke even accused Morag of faking her vows for the sake of the viewers. Morag called him "fake" back.

Speaking to his followers on an Instagram Live, he delved back into their relationship to explain what was going through his head behind the scenes – and where he's at now.

One follower asked what went wrong between the two of them. "I wasn't Morag's type," he wrote. "That's it. Hurt like hell and didn't realise how much until I seen the adverts for it again. But you know what, I'm someone else's type right?"

Another fan asked: "Looking back, did you really love Morag? Or were you caught up in the moment?"

Luke responded: "Caught up in the moment. At the time I genuinely thought I did or was heading there."

When asked if he would "ever consider giving it another go with Morag", he simply replied: "No."

When the reunion first aired on Channel 4 (October 4), Luke wrote in an Instagram post: "I've learned so much. But my story has not ended here.

"I will try to do good things for so many people with a small platform in hope of moving forward from this experience and couldn't be more grateful. Met some friends for life."

Morag also took to Instagram after the reunion to summarise her experiences on the show, writing: "What an emotional rollercoaster and experience of a lifetime. It may not have been the dream ending but I wouldn't change a thing.

"I stayed 100% open and honest and true to myself throughout the process. I tried!"

She added: "I will hold my head high knowing I know the truth, I speak the truth and lived the truth. And that fake has become the new normal that people can't handle honesty."
