Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Leyla Cavanagh will open up to Tracy Metcalfe over her worries for her husband Liam Cavanagh next week, as he continues to lead a double life.
After Liam (Jonny McPherson) began acting suspiciously recently and lying to Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) about his whereabouts, she became convinced that he was having an affair – particularly after she found out that he had been lying about going to work.
Leyla decided to follow him and was shocked to find out that Liam has been secretly visiting the house he used to share with his late daughter Leanna, tending to the garden outside the empty house in an attempt to work through his grief for Leanna after she was murdered during the summer.

Leyla has been concerned about her husband and worried by his reluctance to open up to her about how he is feeling, so she's grateful when Tracy (Amy Walsh) invites her over for a brew.
Leyla hesitantly opens up to Tracy about her worries, telling her all about the double life that Liam has been leading recently.
The next day, Leyla becomes increasingly frustrated at Liam's refusal to engage with her as he continues to pretend to get ready for work – when Leyla knows full well that he isn't going to work.

Tracy recommends that Leyla should try to push Liam for more answers and bring matters to a head, but could this plan backfire?
Jonny recently shared more about his character's actions with Digital Spy, saying that going back to the house to see an apple tree that he planted with Leanna when she was a child "helped to trigger certain memories" for Liam, and that this is helping him to handle his grief.
"As much as Leyla can console Liam, and as much as he can speak to Jacob, there's not really anyone in the village who knew Leanna to the same depth and degree that he did as a father," he said.
"I think this is the closest Liam can get to really feeling like he can be close to Leanna. Even though it's all in his head, it's the best method he can find for just getting through his grief."
Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing October 25 on ITV.
