Joey King's upcoming Netflix movie has signed on three new names to its cast, with Outer Banks star Chase Stokes – AKA John B – swapping the Pogues for the Uglies.
Following the conclusion of the Kissing Booth trilogy, Joey King will lead Netflix's adaptation of Scott Westerfeld's novel Uglies – and she won't be alone.
The Tomorrow War's Keith Powers, I Know What You Did Last Summer's Brianne Tju, and Outer Banks favourite Chase Stokes are all aboard the new project, Deadline is reporting.
Based on the dystopian fantasy novel of the same name, Uglies is set in a world in which a compulsory operation at the age of 16 ensures everyone conforms to a so-called ideal standard of beauty. (Yikes.)

While King is expected to play the novel's lead character Tally Youngblood, the roles of Powers, Tju, and Stokes currently remain a mystery.
Opening up about her Uglies gig, Joey King said last year that she was "really excited" to be working with Netflix once again.
"I mean, I have such a wonderful relationship with everyone over there, and this book series has been one of my absolute favourite things in the world when I was younger to read, and to just be so lost in, and engrossed in," she said.

"So being able to tell that story with a company that I love so much is really, really exciting."
Uglies will be directed by McG (The Babysitter), with Grey's Anatomy showrunner Krista Vernoff writing the screenplay.
Outer Banks seasons 1 and 2 and all three Kissing Booth movies are available to stream on Netflix.
