With the pandemic slowing down film production in 2020, 2021 was a slow but fun year for movies, however, 2022 is going to be stacked with films you'll be dying to see, so here are the top five movies that will be in theaters that you'll wanna watch at the Orion.

5.) Top Gun: Maverik

The long-awaited sequel people were planning on seeing back in 2020 was delayed indefinitely after covid shut down theaters, worried that moviegoers would be shy to return to theater seats they decided the best plan of action was to watch other movies releases and to put the movie in theaters when they saw a positive spike in movie-going. Now with movies like Shang-Chi, Venom, and a few others taking off at the box office, Top Gun producers have finally decided May 27th, 2022 is the perfect time to release it.

4.) John Wick: Chapter 4

The 4th installment of the John Wick franchise has been long-awaited by fans. With worries this movie would find a long delay fans were answered with happy news, John Wick Chapter 4 will not only explore some of the origins of John Wick but also delve into the final story, it'll be hitting theaters the same day as Top Gun making it a contender for the box office. Watch it in theaters May 27th of 2022

3.) Dr.Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Dr.Strange is blowing the doors wide open on the multiverse of Marvel movies, this film is meant to connect all of the Marvel movies, even movies that weren't owned by Disney or Marvel studios back in the day, meaning we'll be getting some new characters joining the fight in the Marvel Universe like The X-Men, Wolverine, The Fantastic Four, (Sony) Spider-Man, Venom, and Blade. Making it all one giant film franchise. They'll dive deep into the powers of Wanda, Dr. Strange, and the multiverse with rumors adding that Spider-Man will follow along to fight alongside them...but not any Spider-Man, but Toby Maguires Spider-Man from the original movies in the early 2000s. This movie was recently pushed back and will now be released on May 6th of 2022

2.) Spider-Man: No Way Home

Spider-Man No Way Home will feature Spider-Mans adventure to get his secret identity back. After having it exposed by Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) in Far From Home, Peter Parker goes to none other than Dr. Strange to see if he doesn't have some sort of magical spell to make the world forget. But something goes wrong and unleashes evil from  Spider-man's past that he hasn't even met yet. That's right Dr.Strange will open up the door to the multiverse in this movie and the characters finding their way thru will be Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, and two more Spider-Men? You can catch this movie in theaters on December 17th, 2021. Where this isn't a 2021 movie it will be released right before the new year and be the kick-off to all the Marvel movies to come in 2022

1.) The Batman

Robert Pattinson may have lost fans when he did the Twilight Series, now he's suited up as none other than The Batman in a story we've never seen on the big screen. Batman is in his second year of fighting crime with his make-shift suit, batmobile, and cave. Now he has an arch-enemy in the Riddler who's committing a series of murders to lure The Batman out. But Batman will have to deal with more than just the Riddler, Penguin and Catwoman are also featured in this movie and it looks like they'll all be playing a huge role. The Batman hits theaters March 4th, 2022
