Miami Dolphins grades: Poor report card after loss to Jacksonville Jaguars
The Dolphins lost their fifth straight game Sunday, falling to the Jaguars 23-20 in London on a last-second field goal.
Thus, the weekly grades will continue to reflect a team that continues to struggle and lose. Hard to grade on a curve when you lose to a team that had a 20-game losing streak.
This week, Miami hosts Atlanta and the Falcons are playing just as bad as the home team. The Dolphins are 1-5; the Falcons are 2-3 and coming off their bye week.

Here are the grades from the Jaguars game:
Offense C-minus
Tua Tagovailoa isn’t why the Dolphins lost. He returned and threw for 329 yards and two scores — numbers the Dolphins would take any week. But Miami scored just seven points after halftime. As for the running attack, we would address it if one existed.
Defense F
With 6 1/2 minutes left and Miami trying to protect a three-point lead, the defense allowed Jacksonville to drive 44 yards for a tying field goal. Then, with 1:42 left, the defense let the Jaguars escape from a third-and-20 hole by playing ridiculously soft coverage. Enough said.
Special teams C-minus
Jason Sanders missed from 58 yards. It happens. Michael Palardy, who has been average after bumping Matt Haack from the job, managed just a 37-yard punt from his own 12. Jacksonville took over on the Miami 49 and drove for its first touchdown of the game.
Coaching F
Last week, Dolphins defensive tackle Raekwon Davis referred to the Jaguars as “a great team.” No, they’re a terrible team. A winless team — until they met up with the Dolphins. Yes, the Dolphins had injury problems. No excuses.
