C.J. Uzomah, Joe Mixon and the Bengals fan's phone that fell celebrating a TD in Detroit

Cincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah (87) celebrates with a row of Bengals fans after the fourth quarter of the NFL Week 6 game between the Detroit Lions and the Cincinnati Bengals at Ford Field in Detroit on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021. The Bengals held the lead the entire game and finished with a 34-11 win in Detroit.

With the excitement of a touchdown, there are bound to be occasional, unintended consequences during celebrations.

Players have been injured celebrating. But it's rare for players to injure fans' phones as they celebrate.

Cincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah, who jumped into the crowd after last month's win against the Jacksonville Jaguars and shared a beer with a fan, knocked a fan's phone to the ground during a fourth-quarter celebration against the Lions in Detroit, apparently while trying to connect on a high-five.

The phone fell to the ground. The screen was cracked, but fortunately it was still usable.

Running back Joe Mixon took video the fan won't forget that many others have seen since Cincinnati's 34-11 win Sunday, and Uzomah is doing right by the fan - per fox19.com - by replacing it and delivering free tickets.
