The NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching–just two weeks away on November 2nd–and the Green Bay Packers should explore making a move. Especially at cornerback.

The Packers have already been active in targeting players surprisingly released by their teams during the season, as they signed linebacker Jaylon Smith and were in on cornerback Stephen Gilmore before he went to the Carolina Panthers.

They should continue that aggression when it comes to the trade market. Who knows how long Jaire Alexander is out for, Kevin King can’t stay healthy, and it took all of one series for Isaac Yiadom to get benched as the starting corner against the Chicago Bears. Let’s check out six players likely available to be acquired via a trade.

It’s clear the Green Bay Packers need help at cornerback and they should explore trading for any of these players before the deadline.

Packers: Cornerback available for trade: Vernon Hargreaves III, Houston Texans

Vernon Hargreaves III might not be the jolt in the arm other guys on this list are, but he’d provide them with more depth at the position. Eric Stokes continues to show flashes, but also has his inconsistencies as well. It’s clear Yiadom isn’t the answer. Can they really expect Rasul Douglas to be the guy for large stretches of the season? Trading a seventh-rounder for Hargreaves would give Green Bay another option at the position.
